Finance, IT, blockchain – all male jobs? Not correct! Even today these industries are more likely to be assigned to the male gender. As a result, it is not made easy for women to grow and establish themselves in these areas. It should not be forgotten that the first real IT professionals were women. In the time of World War II, they were the ones who, as telephone operators and cryptanalysts, cracked the difficult codes of the opposing army until they were ousted from these professions by men after the war.
Even today, it is not easy for women in the blockchain industry. It is important to understand, also for the crypto investment fund, that having several different perspectives is an advantage. With more diversity, the blockchain industry has a higher chance of developing and growing faster. So far there have been only a few initiatives such as the “Women in crypto” event, but it is to be hoped that the path will hold fewer obstacles for women in the future.
