Over the past few days, Ethereum has experienced block finality disruptions due to an overload of some clients. Within 24 hours, two such events occurred, crippling the network. However, the developers of the Ethereum blockchain responded quickly and released a system update to resolve the issue. In a blog post by the Ethereum Foundation, it was announced that patches for the Prysm and Teku clients were implemented to ensure the proper operation of the blockchain. Fortunately, no restrictions were created for end users. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the incidents.
