The Bitcoin price continues to fall, dragging the broader crypto market down with it. BTC is down 4.01% in the last 24 hours, while ETH is down 3.13%. With a current price of $26,313, Bitcoin reaches its lowest value since March 14 this year, when the price fell as low as $26,544. The reasons for the slump in the Bitcoin price are complex. Interestingly, there was actually good news last Wednesday, as the CPI fell, pushing the bitcoin price up to $28,317. But then fake news about an alleged sale of 9,800 BTC by the US government shook the market. The Bitcoin price crashed as a result and has seemingly not been able to recover since.
