It’s all totally unnecessary!

Scientists agree that there will be enormous ecological, economic and social consequences if the current high clear-cutting figures are not reduced. As a countermeasure, they are calling for a stop to clear-cutting as well as the reforestation of already degraded areas.

What is the economic problem?

The rainforest, with its indigenous inhabitants, with an incredible number of rare plant and animal species, its biodiversity, its unique, pristine beauty, hundreds of thousands of years old, is being cleared and burned down to produce soy and palm oil.

The average yield of agricultural use is about 100 USD per 1000 m2

100 USD per year per 1000 m2!

This banal number is THE problem and at the same time the motivation to burn down and level everything.

We definitely want to prevent that!

What is the task?

Identification of an ecohumanist and at the same time economical solution, taking into account the:

  • Securing the future of the people while safeguarding their indigenous status

  • Careful use of the rainforest, preservation of biodiversity

  • On-site product development with the greatest possible added value and simultaneous economic efficiency

  • Project development and establishment of production of indigenous medicinal honey directly on site

The indigenous people are experts in beekeeping and beekeeping. They use the small bees of the Melipona breed, a stingless mini bee. This bee produces an enzyme during its pollination process, in conjunction with the unique plant diversity and certain flowers and tree species in this area of the rainforest, which leads to a healing reaction in honey when ingested or used externally, known as MGO.

But the Melipona bees are in danger!

The Melipona bee, which produces the raw honey, suffers great damage to its survival by the destruction of the ecosystem. As a result, more and more, especially young indigenous people have to leave the honey sector.

The economic background.

The selling price per kilo of medical honey on site is about 20 €. In Europe, depending on the amount of the active ingredient MGO, from 150 € per kilo. If the honey is filled into a 20 ml tube and treated antibacterially beforehand, it is traded in Europe between 500 -800 € per kilo.

Per hectare comparatively 100 small Melipona bee colonies can work and act. One beekeeper family can easily look after one hectare in Bolivia. The bees and their colonies produce at least 200 kilos of med-honey per hectare per year.

The current income of an indigenous beekeeper is currently around 100 USD per year.

It therefore does not have the capital to equip at least ten hives and, in addition, it lacks access to the European market. We can guarantee both of these within the framework of the ecohumanist approach.

What is the solution?

Together with the cooperative, we plan to acquire 1,600 hectares of rainforest with an option for a further 3,600 hectares and settle up to 50,000 bee colonies.

The first beehives have already been set up. This year, additionally developed hives will be integrated. Although these are somewhat more expensive to purchase, they are less time-consuming for the local beekeeper in terms of honey production.

With 1,600 hectares, there is a calculated surplus for the continuous expansion and simultaneous rebuilding of the ecosystem of
EUR 32 million!

With the management of 1 hectare of rainforest and preservation of the Amazon ecosystem, the indigenous families earn four times the annual income and thus an enormous improvement in their living conditions!

An ecohumanist approach is therefore much more economical than the destructive method of fire clearance.

Let us help people and the environment together.

Additionally compensate CO2 and become climate neutral!

Why is climate protection so important for us and our children?

Climate change, together with global warming, is already visible in Europe but also in distant regions. Everyone senses the danger that climate change will bring. Long periods of drought with water shortages, storms and influences on ocean currents or glacier melt announce serious consequences. There is less and less time to really do something against global warming.

Therefore, our motto is: “Climate protection – today and now”. Every entrepreneur and every private person can make their contribution and contain the causes of climate change. Otherwise, the climate consequences of today will become a climate catastrophe for our children and grandchildren.

Our claim is climate protection with growth and profit for all.

Climate protection becomes a part of the value chain.
