There is no question that blockchain technology makes sense in many industries and makes work easier. But not all areas are ready to rely on this technology and continue to trust in people’s “flawless” abilities. In mechanical engineering, for example, technology does not yet play a major role. This is partly due to the fact that too few experts and specialists are trained there. Most machines already work digitally, but still have to be operated by hand.

With the blockchain, machines will be able to log tamper-resistant in the future and increase the accuracy and security of the machines. Later depreciation of the machines can also be cleaner thanks to blockchain technology. So far, the high level of trust has been placed in the manufacturers of such production machines, but with trained specialists this could change in the future.
