The video game manufacturer Atari has announced that a proprietary crypto currency for sports betting in the e-sports area will soon be available. This information comes from a press release dated 12 June in which Atari announced its cooperation with the e-sports betting provider Unikrn. Within the framework of the cooperation, Unikrn is allowed to integrate the cult Atari video games Centipede, Pong and Asteroids on its own platform, while Atari can tap into the betting provider’s user base in return for its own crypto token. The Atari crypto currency will be usable on Unikrn for shopping, betting and video games.
