Flying cars were already a dream of mankind almost 100 years ago. But while they are still a long way off, air cabs are about to take off. In recent years, investments in self-flying drone shuttles have increased twentyfold. Soon, the first electric flyers are expected to be in the air. So far, there are only pilot tests, but Paris wants to transport people with the new flying cabs before 2025. In Dallas, the first test flights will soon take place. Worldwide, there are more than 110 city or regional projects to provide autonomous air transportation. Half of them come from Europe.
According to experts, the larger spread of air cabs will start in 2025, when the first commercial providers enter the market. The air cabs are not only incredibly exciting, but also environmentally friendly. They do not emit any emissions during the journey.
