Telangana, a state in India launches a blockchain accelerator in collaboration with CoinSwitch Kuber and Lumos Labs. The government of Telangana (state of India) announced that the India Blockchain Accelerator program, which aims to nurture early-stage Web2 and Web3 startups and blockchain developers, is now launching. The program aims to solve real-world challenges. The program is being rolled out in partnership with well-known crypto exchange CoinSwitch Kuber and Lumos Labs, a technology innovation management company.

The state plans to use the blockchain projects for various use cases, already tested here are T-Chits (chit funds on the blockchain), e-elections (digital voting platform based on AI and blockchain), supply chains (seed traceability) and many more. According to the official announcement, the government’s four-month blockchain accelerator program will be available for Web2 and Web3 startups and early-stage blockchain developers. The program will seek blockchain-based solutions to real-world problems in various industries, including fintech, entertainment, sustainability, infrastructure and tools, agri-tech, logistics, and healthcare, for example: The Telangana government aims to create the necessary legal framework to enable and promote the growth of blockchain.
