The frequent crashes of the Solana network are slowly becoming a running gag in crypto space. On Wednesday afternoon, the network crashed for the fifth time this year and had to be restarted. The reason for the frequent crashes and instability of the system is believed by critics of the network to be a design problem with the blockchain. The renewed crash has not left no trace on the market capitalization of the altcoin; the Solana price fell by around 15 percent. No other network has crashed as often in such a short time as Solana. By comparison, Bitcoin and Ethereum never crashed in their history.
