As part of the digital policy programme until 2030, the EU Parliament is focusing on blockchain technology alongside increasing digitalisation. With the “Policy Programme for 2030: Towards the Digital Decade”, the European Parliament (EP) wants to support businesses and public services in digitising their work. Existing blockchain initiatives are also to benefit from help in building “blockchain-based public services”. The aim is to successfully implement Europe-wide digital goals by 2030. Blockchain is part of this.
