In Monterrey, Mexico, a daring crypto offer from a Mexican company is causing quite a stir. The bid is for digital money worth 138 million US dollars and the transfer of 1,400 to 2,400 hectares of company-owned land in the state of California, including 10 km of beachfront property. In return, the company, which operates a crypto exchange, will receive the keys to the president’s plane and two other planes. The application has been submitted to the government, but no response has been received yet. This is just another example of how governments are (having to) increasingly address the issue of digital currencies.
