Japanese publisher Konami is launching an experiment with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to mark the 35th anniversary of the action series Castlevania. Fans of the action series can bid for 14 images, music tracks and other extras on the auction platform Opensea. This could mean that there will soon be comparable offers from the world of Metal Gear – this series is also celebrating its 35th anniversary soon.

Actually, it’s not supposed to start until January 12 at 10 p.m., but there are already bids. For an eye-catching pixel art graphic, the equivalent of around 180 US dollars is being offered. The auctions will end on January 14, 2022. The auction is basically handled in Ethereum.
