Bitcoin failed to make progress after reaching a high of $48,000 on March 28. The market leader, with a market capitalization of $807.7 billion, fell 9% in the last seven days. It is trading at $42,506 at this point.

Ethereum, on the other hand, the second largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $387.7 billion, fell 8%. Solana, however, lost the most value among the top 40 this week. The fast and energy-efficient Solana fell 21% to $111, although the coin still managed to hold seventh place with a market cap of $36 billion – ahead of rival Cardano, which fared slightly better.
