The principle says, no crypto currency without a white paper. A whitepaper is basically a logically structured document that moves from a problem to a solution. Whitepapers have become commonplace since the 1990s. For crypto-currencies the whitepaper on Bitcoin from 2008 marks the beginning of a new era. A certain Satoshi Nakamoto, who has remained anonymous to this day, wrote that a decentrally organised digital currency could be used to solve problems that automatically arise with classic currencies. Since then, the launch of a new old coin requires that a white paper explains what function the respective crypto currency fulfils and how this is to be achieved technically.
