Bitkom President Achim Berg has issued a communication calling on the German government to “massively expand its blockchain expertise in the higher education sector”. New professorships and courses at the interface of computer science and business are necessary to promote Germany as a technology location. The blockchain strategy also requires a roadmap for implementation and a task force to coordinate the necessary measures. It is slowly becoming time to take money in hand in order to keep the gap small on an international level. Germany is currently still in the planning phase, while countries like China and the USA are already working on expanding their crypto ecosystems.
